Founded in 1986 by SCANA Corporation, primesouth L.L.C. was initially established as a pioneer in energy services, benefiting from SCANA’s 160-year legacy of powering communities.
Following years of successful management under SCANA’s leadership, primesouth L.L.C. transitioned ownership to Wamar International, LLC, a global leader in power generation, oil and gas, and defense services. In the late 2010s, the company was fully acquired by a group of American, Egyptian, and Kuwaiti investors.
