Primesouth Lebanon S.A.L provides Gas Turbine Major Overhaul and Reconditioning services for gas turbines, designed to restore performance, ensure safety, and extend operational life. Our services include the following:
Post Life-Time Extension (LTE) Overhauls
Execution of major overhauls for units exceeding 200,000 equivalent operating hours.
Rotor & Casing Inspection & Evaluation (RCIE)
Detailed evaluation of rotors and casings to assess integrity and ensure safe operation.
Hot Gas Path & Combustion System Overhaul
Inspection, repair or replacement of combustion liners, fuel nozzles, and transition pieces. Cleaning or replacement of turbine blades, vanes, nozzles in the hot gas path to restore efficiency and reduce thermal losses.
Rotors, Shafts & Bearings
Disassembly and removal of rotor components; balancing (low speed & high speed) after rework. Inspection and re-machining of shaft journals, coupling fits, bearing surfaces; replacement of worn bearings/seals.
Compressor Inspection, Cleaning & Repair
Inspection of compressor stages (vanes, blades), casing integrity. Cleaning (chemical cleaning / mechanical) of the compressor to remove fouling and restore airflow/efficiency.
Auxiliary Systems & Controls
Overhaul / servicing of accessories: fuel forwarding and fuel treatment, lubrication oil systems, hydraulic system, cooling system. Inspection and refurbishment of controls, monitoring systems, sensors, and safety systems.
Mechanical Structures & Casings
Removal and inspection of casing halves; checks for cracks, distortion, restoration (welding / machining) as needed. Hot section components support structure, sealing systems, exhaust casing, and expansion joint assessment.
Clearance, Alignment, & Testing
Measurement of clearances (blade tip, root clearances), alignment of rotor, shafts, compressor/turbine sections. Performance testing, vibration analysis, commissioning checks post-overhaul.
Inspection & Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Visual, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye-penetrant, or penetrant inspection of critical components to detect cracks, wear or other damage. Borescope inspections in parts of turbine/casing not fully dismantled.
Performance & Efficiency Upgrades
Upgraded air intake systems (filters, anti‐fouling), modifications to cooling/wetting, coatings to protect from high-heat corrosion.
